Bringing the taste of our handcrafted Irish gin to Galway

After a busy start to the week at Imbibe UK in London we are heading to Galway this weekend for the Galway International Food and Craft Festival with our handcrafted Irish gin

OVER 30,000 people are expected to descend on Salthill this weekend for the Galway International Food and Craft Festival and we cannot wait.

It was a very busy start to the week at Imbibe UK in London which was a fantastic experience meeting fellow distillers and trades people.

But, this weekend the vibe will be so much different with the anticipated 30,000 crowd heading West to Salthill and the 350 seater cooking auditorium which will feature 13 of Ireland’s top chefs including Rachel Allen, JP McMahon, Grainne Mullins, Martin O’Donnell, Gary O’Hanlon, Shane Smith and more.

Ulrich will be there with our range of delicious Symphonia gins alongside other Food NI members including Mac Ivors Cider Co, Long Meadow Cider, Granny Shaws Fudge Factory, Irish Black Butter, Lecale Harvest, Burren Balsamics, Fluffy Meringue, Noisy Snacks and Brownie Barn. There’ll be over 180 artisan food and drink producers, lots of crafts, wood carvings, jewellery and art.

This is a cracking three day event for Galway. It shows off the unique diversity which the West of Ireland has to offer such as artisan restaurants, organic and fresh food producers as well as international cuisine. We are delighted to be attending as it gives us a fantastic platform to showcase what we can do here in Co Tyrone bringing the taste of the countryside which surrounds The Woodlab Distillery as well as the bringing the taste of the Armagh’s famous orchards, to the West of Ireland.

The rapidly growing food and drink culture in the west of Ireland is phenomenal to see, and, a key feature of this year’s Galway International Food and Craft Festival, focuses on the emerging craft beer and boutique beverage market where unique brews, interesting flavours and textures are enjoyed.

There’ll be something for everyone including children who will get to enjoy the kids zone, but, for the adults amongst us, make sure and enjoy Symphonia Dry Gin, Symphonia our unique Apple Gin and of course the drink of the summer, Symphonia Fruit Cup.

This festival has been described as “a diverse blend and there is literally something for everyone”.

So, if you are in Galway on your holidays, or nearby, come along and say hello. We’ll have plenty of gin with us so come and enjoy the taste of the Irish countryside.

The festival runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. See you in Salthill.
