Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our casual events team as Brand Ambassadors. As a Brand Ambassador for Symphonia Spirits, you will represent our company at various markets, festivals, and promotional events throughout Northern Ireland. This is a flexible, as-and-when-required position, perfect for students or those seeking supplementary income.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Sampling & Sales: Pour and serve spirit samples to event attendees, explaining our product range and encouraging sales
- Brand Representation: Act as the face of Symphonia Spirits, embodying our values and passion for local craft distilling
- Customer Engagement: Share the story behind our spirits, educate customers about our production process, and create memorable brand experiences
- Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up and dismantling promotional stands and displays
- Handle Payments: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly at markets and events.
- Stock Management: Monitor and maintain product inventory during events, ensuring adequate supplies and proper presentation
- Sales Recording: Accurately record sales transactions and customer interactions
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all licensing requirements and responsible alcohol service guidelines
Essential Requirements
- Age: Must be 18 years or older
- Confidence: Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Availability: Flexible schedule to work weekends, evenings, and during festival seasons
- Legal Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK with appropriate documentation
- Alcohol Service: Comfortable and confident selling and serving alcoholic beverages
- Physical Capability: Able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry promotional materials
Desirable Qualities
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or events (beneficial but not essential)
- Knowledge or genuine interest in craft spirits and local produce
- Experience working at markets, festivals, or similar events
- Own transport (due to varied event locations across NI)
- Enthusiastic about representing local Northern Ireland businesses

Working Arrangements
This is a casual position with work allocated on an as-and-when-required basis. Event schedules vary depending on the festival and market calendar, with busier periods typically occurring during:
- Summer festival season
- Christmas markets
- Bank holiday weekends
- Special promotional events
Staff will be contacted in advance of events with details of location, timing, and requirements. There is no guarantee of minimum hours, and work availability will fluctuate throughout the year.
